This enchanted piece by Carl Orff is one of the most frequently played classical pieces in the world, and will be performed by 64 OSG musicians.
In addition, 170 chorists from the Chœur de l’OSG, the Chœur classique de l’Outaouais, the Chœur Coro Vivo Ottawa choir, the Carleton University and University of Ottawa choirs and other local choirs will come together, with a children’s choir adding a magical touch to the concert.
Three seasoned soloists, Sophie Naubert (soprano), Michael Eusébio (tenor) and Dominic Côté (barytone-bass) will round out the fresco with their unique voices.
